Our Butterfly Angel is dedicated to the memory of our daughter, Hannah Noelle Weiss, who passed away September 14, 2005. Unknown to us, Hannah was just one of 21 children at the daycare that day under the sole supervision of an unlicensed child care provider. Authorities have revealed that since 2000 this woman has been accused of child abuse and was convicted of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor for placing children in a closet for several hours at a time. In 2001, she and her husband were convicted of stealing the identities of parents whose children were enrolled in her daycare.

Nothing will ever bring back our child, but we know she is always with us in spirit, guiding us in whatever we do. We hope to create many great possibilities with this website. Our intention is to inform, educate and provide resources to parents so that other tragedies in private daycare centers can be avoided.
